Abstract

In this digital era, incorporating technology into the learning process is very important because it is more effective and efficient. One way is to improve students' reading and understanding, especially in learning dates, by using educational applications such as the ISMUBAKU application. As an educational institution, the Sampang Muhammadiyah Vocational School has been able to utilize technology, especially in using the ISMUBAKU application as a tool when studying dates. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of the use of the ISMUBAKU application in learning dates at SMK Muhammadiyah Sampang, Cilacap Regency, determine supporting factors and determine factors inhibiting the use of the ISMUBAKU application in learning dates at SMK Muhammadiyah Sampang, Cilacap Regency.
This research is qualitative research, a type of field research using interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. Data analysis uses primary data from interviews, where the data collected will be analyzed qualitatively using descriptive methods and using primary data analysis, namely looking at previous research articles or journals that support this research. The subjects in this research were ISMUBA teachers and students at SMK Muhammadiyah Sampang, Cilacap Regency.
This research shows that the ISMUBAKU application is used by students as a substitute for student learning resources, while it is used by teachers as an additional source of date learning material because the printed books owned by teachers are incomplete. The ISMUBAKU application is used by students during date lessons to answer trigger questions to make students more active in participating in date lessons. The ISMUBAKU application is used in date learning to increase the effectiveness of learning in class.
