The research aims to examine the effect of budget goal clarity,
effectiveness of internal control, and reporting system on government
performance accountability in Pemalang District. The dependent variable used in
this research was government performance accountability, while the independent
variable were budget goal clarity, effectiveness of internal control and reporting
system. The object of research was local officials in the area of Bappeda,
Bapenda, and BPKAD with the sample were 42 respondents. Selecting samples
method used was sensus methods and the analysis technique used in this research
was multiple regression analysis. The analysis result showed of that effectiveness
of internal control and reporting system positively affected government
performance accountability. Meanwhile, the variable of budget goal clarity
positively but not significant affected government performance accountability.
