Abstract
This research aims to analyze the academic culture in the learning community in
elementary schools implementing the 3rd Generation Driving School Program in
Purbalingga Regency, identify teacher activities in learning as an impact of
implementing academic culture, and identify student learning outcomes as the
impact of learning activities carried out by teachers after participating in learning
community activities. This research uses a qualitative approach by collecting data
through observation, interviews, and documentation carried out at SDN 5
Pengadegan, SD N 2 Kalikabong, and SD N 2 Karangjengkol in the period May to
July 2024.
The research results show that the implementation of a strong academic culture
through learning community activities has a significant positive impact on the
quality of learning and student learning outcomes. Teachers' activities in learning
that develop after participating in learning communities directly contribute to
increasing students' literacy, numeracy and character competencies. The conclusion
of this research emphasizes the importance of strengthening academic culture in
learning communities as an effective strategy for improving the quality of education
in elementary schools.
