Abstract
Akidah Akhlak learning that still uses conventional models is often ineffective, which has an impact on many students who are less active in learning so that creativity is less trained and unable to understand the lessons taught. A learning model is needed that can bring students to think actively and not get bored quickly and can provide motivation for students to continue learning so that Akidah Akhlak learning can run effectively. One of the existing learning models is a learning model that presents a project to students to later train thinking skills and creativity skills that exist in students. The purpose of this study was to determite the use of the Project Based Learning model in learning Akidah Akhlak at SMK Muhammadiyah Bobotsari.
This research is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Where the data collected is analyzed qualitatively descriptive. With the steps of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing
The use of the Project Based Learning in Akidah Akhlak learning at SMK Muhammadiyah Bobotsari has been implemented as an alternative learning model but not all learning content is used in this model in the field. Depending on the needs of certain learning resources, this Project Based Learning model is applied. In its use, of course the school is very prepared for the use of this learning model. This can be seen from the support of schools that greatly facilitate and include teachers in training or socialization of learning systems. In the implementation of this activity through several procedures, namely determining the project, gathering information, planning the making of the project, preparing a schedule, completing the making of the project, and assessing the educator and ecaluaating what has been learned. Learning Akidah Akhlak based on the Project Based Learning model in Akidah Akhlak learning at SMK Muhammadiyah Bobotsari creates more interesting learning and student involvement in learning is also increased.
