Abstract
This research is motivated by the observation that fifth-grade students at SD Negeri
2 Bojongsari do not understand their profiling and learning styles. This study aims
to describe the profiles and learning styles of the fifth-grade students at SD Negeri
2 Bojongsari using a qualitative case study approach. The subjects of this research
are 15 fifth-grade students from SD Negeri 2 Bojongsari, Kembaran Subdistrict.
The instruments used include observation sheets for profiling and questionnaires
for learning styles. Data analysis was conducted using the qualitative data analysis
model proposed by Miles and Huberman. The findings of this study indicate that
for each profiling indicator, the students showed positive development,
demonstrating a good understanding of their profiles. The learning style indicators
revealed a tendency for fifth-grade students to prefer visual learning styles. The
results show that the fifth-grade students are well aware of their profiling, and the
classroom teachers are crucial in providing continuous guidance and direction to
help develop the students' characteristics effectively. The learning style analysis of
the fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Bojongsari reveals that 95% (12 students)
prefer visual learning styles, 76% (2 students) prefer auditory learning styles, and
68% (1 student) prefer kinesthetic learning styles.
