Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to test and analyze the influence of selfefficacy
and training variables on job satisfaction with motivation as an intervening
variable. This type of research uses quantitative research. The population research
were employees of PT KAI (Persero) Operation Area V (Daop V) Purwokerto that
has 150 employees. Sampling in this study used a sampling quota which was
distributed to employees in each unit proportionally. Based on the sample criteria,
the sample size was 109 respondents from PT KAI (Persero) Daop V Purwokerto
employees. Data analysis techniques used include measurement model testing,
structural model testing, and bootstrapping hypothesis testing. The results of this
research shows that self-efficacy has no significant effect on job satisfaction,
training has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, self-efficacy has a
positive and significant effect on work motivation, training has a positive and
significant effect on work motivation, motivation has a positive and significant
effect on job satisfaction, motivation can mediate the relationship between selfefficacy
and job satisfaction, and motivation can mediate the relationship between
training and job satisfaction.
