The current rise of digitalization has increased industrial competition,
especially in the consumer goods industry sector. Companies need to develop
strategies for company survival by increasing share prices through company value.
This research aims to obtain empirical evidence and test the influence of
profitability, company size and capital structure on company value moderated by
corporate social responsibility listed on the IDX for the 2019-2022 period. This
research uses quantitative methods and secondary data. The sampling method used
purposive sampling, obtaining 130 samples from 34 companies. The analysis
technique used is moderate regression analysis technique using the SPSS 26.0 data
processing application. The results of the research show that profitability has a
significant negative effect on company value, company size has no effect on
company value, capital structure has a significant negative effect on company
value, CSR can moderate the effect of profitability on company value, CSR can
moderate the effect of company size on company value, CSR can moderates the
influence of capital structure on firm value.
