Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of student responsibility
character education at SD N 5 Cihonje which is located in Gumelar sub-district,
Banymas district. This type of research is a qualitative case study where the
researcher collects data which is processed to obtain a solution so that the problem
can be resolved. The data collection techniques used are interview techniques,
observation and document study. The data validity technique used in this research
is data triangulation. This research utilized various sources of information
originating from several participants such as students, class teachers, parents,
principals and other school residents as well as research supporting participants.
The results of this research are that the implementation of character education at
SD N 5 Cihonje has been implemented thoroughly by several students through
supervision from teachers and parents. However, there are still several indications
that some students have not been able to implement the character of responsibility.
