Abstract
This study aims to describe the profile and role of transformational teachers
in the learning process at SD Negeri Ledug. The research method employed is
qualitative descriptive research. Data collection involves observation sheets,
interviews, and documents related to the profile and role of transformational
teachers. Data validity is ensured through the triangulation of techniques and
sources. The research findings reveal that transformational teachers' profile
includes instructional leaders who encourage holistic student development. They
are active and proactive in developing other educators to implement studentcentered
learning. The role of transformational teachers in the learning process is
gratifying as they utilize technology to motivate and stimulate students' academic
progress. The learning activities are well-implemented by transformational
teachers using diagnostic assessment stages to understand students' learning styles,
talents, interests, and readiness for learning. Transformational teachers employ
differentiated instruction, promote positive cultural and social-emotional learning,
and are proficient in utilizing technology to optimize the success of the learning
process.
