Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product quality, word of
mouth and product design on the purchase decision of OPPO Smartphone studies
on students at Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto. This type of research is a
quantitative research. The sampling technique in this study used purposive
sampling by considering certain criteria. The sample used in this study was 100
respondents. Data analysis using IBM SPSS 20 with multiple linear regression
analysis techniques, research instrument test, classical assumption test, coefficient
of determination. The hypothesis testing tool used is the F test and t test. Based on
the results of the F test, it was found that product quality, word of mouth and
product design had a simultaneous effect on OPPO Smartphone purchasing
decisions. Based on the results of the t test, it was found that product quality, word
of mouth and product design had a positive and significant impact on OPPO
Smartphone purchasing decisions. The value of the influence of product quality,
word of mouth and product design on OPPO Smartphone purchasing decisions is
57.3%.
