Abstract

Teachers need to master and apply appropriate fiqh learning strategies so that learning is effective and efficient, because in the fiqh learning process the main goal is to increase students' awareness of worship. School is a strategic vehicle to increase students' awareness of worship because students interact directly with teachers and school activities. Teachers must be able to correctly select and apply learning strategies that are in accordance with the abilities of their students. One of the effective and efficient fiqh learning strategies is the contestual strategy because the education and learning process will be more concrete, realistic, interesting, meaningful and able to increase students' awareness of worship. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of contextual strategies for learning fiqh in increasing students' awareness of worship at MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Purbalingga.
The results showed that the contextual strategy of learning fiqh was able to increase students' awareness of worship at MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Purbalingga. This is evidenced by the results of contextual learning in which students are able to teach and practice it in their daily lives.
