This study aims to determine the effect of individual characteristics, work environment, and organizational commitment on the performance of the Purbalingga District Education Office employees. The population in this study were all employees of the Purbalingga Education Office, amounting to 108 employees. The sample was taken using the census method with saturated sampling technique with a sample of 108 respondents. Data were obtained using a questionnaire research instrument. The analytical technique uses multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of the analysis shows that simultaneously individual characteristics, work environment and organizational commitment simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. For the partial test, the individual characteristics variable has a significant positive effect on employee performance, the work environment variable has no effect on employee performance, and the organizational commitment variable has a significant positive effect on employee performance.
