This internship final report was aimed in investigating the administration of
child allowance for the retired government officials at PT. Taspen (Persero)
Branch Office Purwokerto. According to the results of the observations and
interviews, it was revealed that the administration of child allowance
benefitted 2% of the basic salary. When inputting data, the retired government
officials were eased by the online system providing a data backup. By getting
that facility, it was easier to deal with a data loss. PT. Taspen (Persero) had
conducted the procedure well, but there were still some obstacles to deal with.
The internet connection was one of these obstacles which made the work less
effective. It was suggested that the company improve its quality of the internet
network to optimize its work. Moreover, the information delivered during the
socialization seemed unclear. To deal with this problem, a flowchart might be
used to ease the customers to get clear information.
