Abstract
This study aims is to determine the effectiveness of YouTube in learning listening for youth tutoring at PSDK UMP. PSDK UMP was established on November 23, 2019, and is a social foundation that has several programs that focus on providing education to the community. This was quantitative research with pre-experimental design. The data collection method used was a test for 4 weeks with a research instrument in the form of a Cloze Test with a different topic every week. The research data were taken 4x pre-test involving 4-17 students of PSDK UMP whose age ranged from 12-18 years (junior and senior high school students). Based on the research results, the use of YouTube in listening learning for youth tutoring was considered effective because there was an increase in the percentage value every week. In the first week, the average learning outcomes for the trial class were 57.43%, in the second week it was 66.8%, in the third week it was 72.5%, and in the fourth week it was 73.57%. However, although the use of YouTube audio listening was considered effective, every student of PSDK UMP must continue to practice continuously because basically a person's language skills can only be honed with regular practice.
