This research aimed to evaluate the effect of company size, profitability,
leverage levels and public shareholding to disclosure of corporate social
responsibility either partially or simultaneously. The method of collecting the data
was by purposive sampling with 39 samples of mining companies in 2011-2013
gained from Indonesian Stock Exchange. The analysis method was by multiple
regression with the trust level of 95%.
The result of the research showed a simultaneous effect among company size,
profitability, leverage levels and public shareholding to disclosure of corporate social
responsibility. The test of partial effect showed that the variables of company size
positively to disclosure of corporate social responsibility. And the variable of
leverage level, profitability, and public shareholding effected affected negatively to
disclosure of corporate social responsibility.
