The Koran is a guide to life, a source of law, and moral guidance for Muslims. Loving the Quran is something that every Muslim must strive for. By loving the Quran, our love for Allah can be realized. The mulazamah system is a non-formal education model where students settle and live with their teachers to learn a science. Mulazamah can also be said to be traditional education which emphasizes one scientific discipline and aspects of mastering the material in depth and detail. The researchers want to research instilling a love of the Quran in children using the mulazamah system at the Al-Huda Dukuh Tengah Bina Umat Foundation, Bumijawa Tegal District.
This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this research were students, parents and Alquran teacher. This research uses data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.
The results of this research show the steps for cultivating a love of the Quran using the mulazamah system, namely by grouping students based on their ability to read the Quran, learning tahsin and recitation, focusing on learning tafsir, and learning manners towards the Quran. Instilling a love of the Quran with the mulazamah system at the Al-Huda Umat Bina Foundation by first introducing children to what the Quran is, the advantages of studying the Quran, and also explaining the advantages of memorizing the Quran, listening to the Quran, memorizing the Quran, studying the Quran and also practicing the Quran in their lives, using the Quran as a guide in living a real life. By building a sense of love for the Quran, it will develop a strong character in children and also create a solid foundation of faith.
