The world of education needs to prevent and handle the rampant cases of degradation among the nation's children through the implementation of character education. Character education can be implemented in all learning, including Kemuhammadiyahan learning. The purpose of this research is to obtain information related to the process and obstacles of the implementation of Kemuhammadiyahan learning in shaping the character of mutual cooperation of students in class XI of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Purbalingga.
This research was conducted through a qualitative approach, while the type of research is descriptive research. Data sources taken in this interview include interviews, observations, and documentation. All research data were analyzed through Milles and Huberman data analysis method.
The results shown in this study include the process of implementing Kemuhammadiyahan learning in shaping students' mutual cooperation character, including the preparation of learning tools well, the use of lecture, cooperative, and exemplary methods in the implementation of learning, as well as observation of learning outcomes, attitudes, and attendance of students' prayers. The obstacles in this process include the lack of references and teachers' abilities in learning preparation, students are too focused on cellphones during lessons, relatively short learning time, damage to some learning media, and lack of knowledge and interest of students in Kemuhammadiyahan learning.
