This research aims to develop a mobile-based travel application that facilitates the public in booking and managing trips using vehicle fleets. The application is designed using the Kotlin programming language and the Firebase platform for database management and user authentication. The development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes stages of requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
The travel application offers various features, such as schedule search and ticket booking, driver and fleet reviews and ratings, and chat functionality with drivers. To support these functionalities, Firebase Google Authentication is used for user authentication, Firebase Realtime Database for real-time data storage, and Firebase Storage for file management.
The application's interface is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, including the main display, search, location maps, user and driver profiles, booking details, and payment confirmation and validation. The research results show that this application effectively meets user needs related to trip selection and scheduling, with potential improvements through the addition of payment features, real-time notifications, and performance optimization.
