This study examines the Forms of Commissive Perlocutionary Speech Acts in the
film "Guru-Guru Gokil" by Sammaria Simanjuntak. The aim of this research is to
describe and analyze the various forms of commissive perlocutionary speech acts
present in the film. This research employs a descriptive qualitative methodology.
The techniques used in this study are observation and note-taking. The findings
reveal five forms of commissive perlocutionary speech acts: promising, swearing,
threatening, expressing willingness, and offering. Specifically, two instances of
promising, three instances of swearing, eight instances of threatening, three
instances of expressing willingness, and four instances of offering were identified.
In total, 20 instances of commissive perlocutionary speech acts were found.
