Nowadays, a lot of people are trying to start a fish farming business with
limited capital without having adequate knowledge of how to make fish harvesting
a promising business. The Specialist Identification System for Freshwater Fish is a
specialized system built to support fish farmers in determining freshwater fish
suitable for breeding based on water quality and local conditions. The system
development in this research uses a certainty factor method that consists of
knowledge acquisition, knowledge representation, shell development, and testing.
The test results of the system showed a high accuracy on the CF value with a
presentation of 93%. The SUS test result of this system obtained a score with an
average score of 71.25 which belongs to the good category. It suggests that the
system can be used well in identifying freshwater fish types.
