Abstract

Educational institutions in Indonesia are experiencing a common problem in the form of a crisis in moral issues because they are faced with increasingly advanced technology. In order to survive in facing the challenges of the world, educational institutions, especially Islamic boarding schools, must strive to provide the best for their students in moral matters. One way of Islamic boarding schools in teaching morals to the students is to create a moral learning strategy.
This study aims to determine how the strategies used in the process of learning morals at the educational institution Pondok Pesantren Bin Baz 4 Wangon Banyumas, Central Java. This type of research is included in field research (field research) with a qualitative approach and qualitative descriptive type of research. The subjects in this study were the chairman of the foundation, mudir Pondok Pesantren, kesantrian, and maple teachers, as well as the parents of students who benefit from good morals. Researchers used the method of interview, observation and documentation in the study. While the method of data analysis using Miles & Huberman model in the form of data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results showed that Pondok Pesantren Bin Baz 4 Wangon use moral learning strategies such as: a. Example, b. The cultivation of love, c. Advice, d. Habituation, e. Discipline.
