This thesis presents the findings of a historical research study titled "Leadership Patterns of the chairman of Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership (Pimpinan Daerah Muhammadiyah) in Purbalingga Regency from 2015 to 2022." The research employed historical research method, which encompasses four stages: heuristic, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The research aimed to address key issues, including (1) the leadership patterns implemented, (2),challenges and opportunities faced by the chairman in leading Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership in Purbalingga, and (3) strategies employed by Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership in Purbalingga to overcome existing challenges. The study's results shed light on the chairman's role in the development of Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership's charitable efforts in Purbalingga, opportunities for growth, and the challenges and strategies involved. Notably, one intriguing finding from the identified issues is that the chairman plays an active role in monitoring and addressing the conditions of charitable endeavors.
