Abstract
Trans Banyumas is a new form of transportation in the Banyumas Regency
area, requiring an evaluation of various aspects to enhance the operational
performance of Trans Banyumas as a public transport system in Purwokerto. This
study aims to evaluate the operational performance of Trans Banyumas on
Corridor 1 with the route from Pasar Pon Terminal to Ajibarang Terminal. The
research employed a quantitative method, which is based on specific sample data
and involves quantitative/statistical data analysis. The data used were collected
through direct field surveys. This analysis refers to the Directorate General of
Land Transportation Decision No: 271/HK.105/DRJD/1996 concerning
Technical Guidelines for Passenger Vehicle Stop Engineering, and Directorate
General of Land Transportation Decision No: SK/687.AJ.206.DRJD/2002
concerning Technical Guidelines for Organizing Public Transportation
Technicians in City Areas with Fixed and Regular Routes, as well as the World
Bank Policy on Urban Transport (1986). From the operational performance
analysis of Trans Banyumas on Corridor 1, the average load factor analysis
result is 21%, indicating a low passenger occupancy rate. The average headway
analysis result is 15 minutes, showing that the headway is not in line with the peak
time indicator of 15 minutes and non-peak time indicator of 10 minutes. The
average passenger waiting time analysis result is 12 seconds, indicating that the
waiting time is not yet aligned, where the average value should be 5-10 minutes
and the maximum 10-20 minutes. The average travel speed analysis result is 32
km/h, showing that the travel speed is in line with the peak time indicator of 30
km/h and the non-peak time indicator of 50 km/h. The average availability of
transportation/fleet analysis result is 100%, indicating that the availability of
transportation/fleet surpasses the 80%-90% indicator.
