Abstract
The importance of changing the approach to learning Shariah subjects lies
in linking teaching to the needs and interests of students and the nature of Islamic
religious education, thereby understanding religious values and daily practices in
accordance with Islamic teachings. Students' active participation in learning is an
important aspect of improving learning motivation. Therefore, there is a need for
diverse teaching, especially through cooperative learning using the snowball
throwing technique. Cooperative learning is a way for students to leverage the
diversity of their classmates to learn, increase understanding, and develop positive
attitudes. Group cooperation aims to improve students' learning motivation.
This research is qualitative research, with the type of research being field
research which describes the application of the cooperative learning model in
increasing motivation to learn fiqh subjects at Muhammadiyah Bobotsari
Vocational School. Data collection methods are observation, interviews and
documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses data collection, data reduction, data
study, and drawing conclusions.
The results of the research show an increase in learning motivation in class
XI There has been good improvement in learning using the cooperative learning
model.
