Abstract

This research aims to produce animated video teaching materials based on
today's students who are Gen Z and some Gen Alpha, which are characterized by
being happy to innovate. This research uses the Research and Development (R & D)
method based on the development of 4D models consisting of four stages, among
others, define, design, develop, and dissseminate.
The feasibility of animated video teaching materials is obtained from the results
of validation of media experts and material experts through II stages. The score of
media experts obtained a score of 42 with an average of 3.81 and a percentage of
95.4% and the material obtained a score of 47 with an average of 3.61 and a
percentage of 90.38% with these results improved or very feasible after revision in
phase I. Effectiveness tests are carried out with control classes and experimental classes. In the pre-test for the control class obtained a total score of 2136 with an
average of 66.75 and the post test obtained a score of 2280 with an average of 71.25.
While the experimental class obtained a score of 2226 with an average of 69.56 for
the pre-test and a score of 2507 with an average of 78.34 for the post-test. That way
there is an increase in control classes and experiments from pre test to post test. As
well as the difference between control and experimental classes or when using
animated video teaching materials. The T test is carried out with the aim of
determining the difference or average comparison between the control class and the
experiment. After the T test showed the results that the Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000
was smaller than 0.05 and the calculated t value of 4.584 was greater than t table
1.999. Then it can be decided that there is a significant difference between the results
of the control class post test scores and experiments. Experimental classes or those
who received treatment were superior in post-test scores.
