One of the negative impacts of technological advancement is the emergence of job vacancy scam cases on social media platforms, especially on the Facebook Messenger and Facebook Lite applications. Crimes committed by perpetrators will inevitably leave digital evidence in the form of images and conversations between the perpetrator and the victim. Therefore, digital forensic techniques are necessary to retrieve this evidence. The objective of this research is to understand the process of analyzing digital evidence from cases of job vacancy scams on the Facebook Messenger and Facebook Lite applications, which can be used as evidence of the crime, using the NIST SP 800-101 R1 method. The research results show that the MOBILEEdit tool, applied to the Facebook Messenger application, obtained complete conversation evidence and image evidence. Meanwhile, in the Facebook Lite application, several text conversations and images were found.
