This research is entitled Analysis of Social Values in Kembang Turi Novel written by Budi Sardjono (Study of Sociology of Literature) which aims to describe the social values in the novel. The research approach applied is the sociology of literature. The object of this research is social values in the novel. The data used in this study are in the form of quotations related to social values in the novel. The data source is also obtained from the novel. The results of this study are (1) the value of affection (a) the dedication of an older brother to his younger sibling (b) the help accepted by Marni and Dirman while they were away from home (c) the kinship between people, of course, people who met during Marni and Dirman leave the house (d) the loyalty of the older brother in waiting for his younger sibling (e) Marni cares for Dirman very much. (2) the value of responsibility (a) the close sense of belonging between Dirman and Marni (b) Marni’s obligation to look after Dirman, because who else wants to look after them (c) the discipline applied by Dirman an Marni in carrying out all their activities (d) everyone very emphatheic to Marni and Dirman after being abandoned by their parents and leaving home. (3) the value of harmony in life (a) the justice of life lived by Marni and Dirman which has been designed by the Creator (b) the strong tolerance between communities, especially in Marni and Dirman’s hometown (c) the cooperation between Marni and Dirman who rents out his bed to make ends meet.
