Abstract
The success of the Prophet in educating and guiding the people should be an example for his followers. The change in the society of the ignorant Arab nation to be the best of civilization is clear evidence of his success in preaching and guiding the ummah. This shows the precise and accurate method of education that he used so as to achieve brilliant results. Education in the current era of globalization has received a lot of criticism, including those related to the methods used in the educational process. Various problems of education, especially those related to the decline in morals, morality, the condition of society is also experiencing a decline, requiring Islamic scientists to play an active role in solving problems, especially those related to religious education. Therefore, the Prophet's educational method can be an example for educators to create a successful and superior education system. The purpose of this study was to determine the educational methods of the Prophet Muhammad in the book of Sunan Tirmidzī. and the relevance of some of these methods in the era of globalization. The research method used by the researcher is descriptive analysis with a philosophical and historical approach. With this method, it is hoped that the points of the Prophet's teaching method in Sunan Tirmidzī. can be described completely and comprehensively.
This type of research is library research. As a primary source, the object of research focuses on Sunan Tirmidzī., supported by syarah books or explanatory hadiths, journals, books, papers and other research that has strategic relevance to this research. The approach in this study is the Mauḍū‟ī interpretation science approach.
The results of the research showed that the Messenger of Allāh in educating had many ways and methods such as the uswah method or practice, dialogue, making pArables with objects, illustrations with pictures, making analogies, telling stories of ancient people to take lessons from, and so on. The relevance of this research is to provide a conceptual description of the method of education of the Prophet in Sunan Tirmidzī. which is creative, innovative and not monotonous so that the urgency that researchers find is the need to redesign education and learning methods to achieve better education quality improvement.
