Abstract
School strategy is an important policy of the school to achieve the goal of improving
and developing school quality. The right strategy can have an impact on the success
of the school in achieving its goals. To get the right strategy, schools need to know
information about the factors in schools that can support the success of achieving
goals. Schools need to analyze these factors. The implementation of this analysis is
expected to provide information that can be used as a reference in developing
strategies so that quality education is obtained.
The aims of this study were (1) to describe the strategic planning for the
development of a campus model school in SD Negeri Petungan Campus, South
Cilacap District; (2) Describe the coordination of the campus model school
development strategy at SD Negeri Petungan Campus, South Cilacap Regency; (3)
describe the supervision of the campus model school development strategy at SD
Negeri Petungan Campus, South Cilacap Regency. 4) Describe the quality
improvement strategy in the development of campus model schools in SD Negeri
Petungan Campus, South Cilacap District
This research took place at SD Negeri Petungan Campus, South Cilacap Regency.
The research used is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach using a
case study model. Qualitative research according to sharpness and thoroughness in
observing, recording a process and activity that appears in reality. And analyze it in
meaningful units. The research subjects used in this study were school principals,
teachers and education staff at SDN Petungan Cilacap Selatan Campus.
The results of the study found that the campus system model schools were schools
that were located close together. These schools are still one door by implementing
a semi-independent or mutual cooperation management system. All management
activities are carried out jointly, but there are several things that must be carried out
independently by the school. The coordination is vertical and horizontal
coordination. There is one school principal who is the coordinator in charge of
several other school principals. Supervision of the role of personnel who already
have duties, authorities and their implementation needs to be carried out so that they
are in accordance with the goals, vision and mission of the company/organization.
The campus unites the vision and mission, implements IHT to support teacher
competence, fulfills the needs for facilities and infrastructure and compiles prostudent
student programs as a strategy to maintain quality and improve the quality
of campus schools.
