This study aims to enhance the social-emotional abilities of 3-4-year-old children
at KB Aisyiyah Branch in Purbalingga. The research subjects comprised six
students from KB Aisyiyah Branch in Purbalingga, aged 3-4 years, consisting of 5
girls and one boy. The research was conducted in two cycles, namely Cycle I and
Cycle II, each involving stages of planning, execution, observation, and
reflection. Data collection techniques included observation through observation
sheets, documentation, and the assessment of changes in the social-emotional
attitudes of the children. Based on the earlier discussions, it can be concluded
that the activities aimed at enhancing the social-emotional abilities of 3-4-yearold
children through the reward method at KB Aisyiyah Branch in Purbalingga
during the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year showed improvement.
The research results were evident in the frequency and percentage of children
who achieved the desired indicators. While some students had yet to reach the
achievement indicators at the initial stage, by Phase 1, several children had met
these indicators, and by Phase 2, the improvement continued.
