The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-efficacy,
employee engagement on job characteristics on employee performance at PT.
Herba Emas Wahidatama Purbalingga. The sample used in this study were
employees of PT. Herba Emas Wahidatama Purbalingga as many as 105
respondents using non probability sampling technique. The analysis used is the F
test, t test and R2 A4justed
The results of this study are based on the F test which states that selfefficacy,
employee engagement, job characteristics have a positive effect on
employee performance. Based on the t test obtained; (a) self-efficacy has a
positive effect on employee performance, (b) employee engagement have a
positive effect on employee performance, (c) job characteristics have a positive
effect on employee performance. Based on the coefficient of determination, R2
a4justed shows the influence of self-efficacy, employee engagement on job
characteristics on employee performance is 43, 7%, while the remaining 56.3% is
explained by factors not examined in this study.
