This study aimed to describe the types of satire found in conversations on
Najwa Shihab YouTube channel episode of "Kejutan 2019". This is a type of
descriptive qualitative research. This research used stylistic approach The data
of this study were words and sentences. While the data source of this research
was the conversation on Najwa Shihab YouTube channel episode of "Kejutan
2019". Based on the results of this study, it is concluded that satire was commonly
found in the videos of Najwa Shihab YouTube channel. The satire also was found
in the conversation on this talkshow. The satirical language found was cynicism
and sarcasm. The were 16 data of cynicism satire. Then, it was 23 data of
sarcasm. Apart from being satirical, cynicism and sarcasm were also meant to
disguise, oppose, criticize, insult, slander, and mockery.
