Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of organizational culture and compensation on employee performance with organizational commitment as an intervening variable at Perum Perhutani KPH Banyumas Barat. The population in this study were all employees of Perum Perhutani KPH Banyumas Barat. The sample used in this study were 110 employees of Perum
Perhutani KP H Banyumas Barat using the incidental sampling technique and data were obtained from re~pondents using a research instrument using aquestionnaire. The analytical method used is the fit test model (F), t test, Sobeltest, and the coefficient of determination test (R2).
Based on the results of the fit test model (F) model 1 and model 2 have metthe model fit test. The results of the t test research concluded; (a) organizational culture has a significant effect on organizational commitment, (b) Compensation has a significant effect on organizational commitment, (c) organizational culturehas a significant effect on employee performance, (d) compensation has asignificant ejfict on employee peiformance. (e) organizational commitment has asignificant effect on employee performance. The Sobel test results concluded that organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance through organizational commitment and compensation has a significant effect on
employee performance through organizational commitment. Based on the coefficient of determination (R2) model 1 test shows the magnitude of organizational culture and compensation for organizational commitment of 61.8%. The coefficient of determination (R2) model 2 test shows that the presentation of organizational culture, compensation, organizational commitment
to employee performance is 67. 7%.
