This qualitative research aimed to describe the students' mathematics problem-solving skills viewed from the mathematical logical intelligence on the eighth-grade class B of SMP Negeri 2 Sokaraja. The students' mathematical logical intelligence were classified into high, fair, and low level and the samples of this research were taken from 3 students on each level using a purposive sampling method. The data were collected using questionnaires, tests, and interviews, then they were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and verification/conclusion. The results showed that: (1) the students with high mathematical logical intelligence were able to understand the problem, plan the problem solving, carry out the problem-solving plan, view and re-examine the answer; (2) the students with fair mathematical logical intelligence were able to understand the problem and plan the problem solving; and (3) the students with low mathematical logical intelligence were only able to understand the problem.
