Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of training, competency, and
appreciation on the performance of employees of the Banyumas Regency Public
Works Office. The population of this research is 125 employees using total
sampling technique. The analysis used is the F test, t test, and R2 adjusted. The
results of this study state that training, competency, and rewards simultaneously
have a significant effect on employee performance, training has no positive and
insignificant effect on employee performance, competence has a positive and
significant effect on employee performance, rewards have no effect on employee
performance. Based on the adjusted R2 determinant coefficient test, it shows that
the influence of training, competency, and rewards on employee performance is
32.7%, while the remaining 67.3% is influenced by variables outside the research
model. There is no differences in the performance of PNS and non-PNS employees.
