facilities and infrastructure in it. Padamara is one of the sub-districts in
Purbalingga Regency which is located in the west of Purbalingga Regency which
is directly adjacent to the Banyumas Regency. Therefore, it is very possible to
take in the growth of a variety of housing therein. The study aims to determine the
distribution pattern of new housing in Padamara Sub-District in 2018 considering
the increasing growth of new housing in Padamara Subdistrict. This study uses a
descriptive qualitative method and the analysis of the nearest neighbours uses the
application of Geographic Information Systems software namely arcGis 10.3. The
population in this study was 23 new housing spreads in 6 villages and 1 village
out of 13 villages and 1 village in Padamara Sub-District. The results of this study
showed that the distribution pattern in Padamara District was random with a score
of T = 1.603. This happens because the pattern of distribution of new housing
follows the pattern of distribution of villages (rural areas).
