Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of educational background, work discipline and work stress on employee performance at the Department of Population and Civil Registration, Cilacap Regency. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were employees of the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Cilacap Regency, totaling 107, the sampling technique in this study was using saturated sampling (census) which is a sampling technique if all members of the population are used as samples. The data obtained from distributing questionnaires as many as 106. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the test results, the results obtained are: (1) Educational background, work discipline and work stress simultaneously affect the performance of employees at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Cilacap Regency. (2) Educational background partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Cilacap Regency. (3) Work discipline partially and positively significant effect on the performance of employees at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Cilacap Regency. (4) Work stress partially and negatively affects employee performance at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Cilacap Regency.
