Abstract
Research on the development of learning media for writing pantun with examples non-examples models in this game application is motivated by the absence of learning media that can help students write pantun well and fun. Hopefully, with the media developed, students can master the competence of writing pantun well. The development of interactive learning media for writing pantun with examples non-examples models in this game aimed to: 1) know the level of understanding of fifth-grade elementary school students in learning to write pantun; 2) determine the learning outcomes of using pantun writing media in learning to write pantun for fifth-grade elementary school students; and 3) know the effectiveness of fifth-grade elementary school students in writing pantun by using learning media to write pantun. To achieve the objectives above, educational research is used with Research and Development (RnD) using two types of data, namely quantitative data and qualitative data. The development of this learning media refers to the Borg and Gall model using six steps development. The results of the development of learning media for writing pantun with examples non-examples models in this game meet the valid criteria with the results of the material expert test reaching a validity level of 85.58% and media design experts reaching a validity level of 83.93%, and learning experts test reaching a validity level of 100%. The field trial reached a student response rate of 92.31% which showed that the learning media for writing pantun with examples non-examples model in the game was effective and interesting. While in the application of learning in the classroom, the students in the control class scored 70.70, and the students in the experimental class got a score of 78. Based on the analysis using the T-test, the results were tcount 3.7037 and ttable 5.9915, which means tcount < ttable. This proves that student learning outcomes have a good variation.
