This type of research is a quantitative study which aims to determine the effect of financial rewards, emotional intelligence, professional training, and control of accountants' behavior on career choices as public accountants. The object of this research is public accountants who work in the Public Accounting Firm (KAP) in the Yogyakarta, Solo and Semarang regions. The sample used in this study were 45 respondents. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the F test show that simultaneously the variables of financial rewards, emotional intelligence, professional training, and behavior control have an effect on career choice as a public accountant. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination, it shows that the variables of financial rewards, emotional intelligence, professional training, and behavior control have an effect of 77.7% on career choices as public accountants. The results of the t test show that the financial reward variable has a positive and significant effect on career choice as a public accountant, emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on career choice as a public accountant, professional training has a positive and significant effect on career choice as a public accountant, and behavior control has no effect. positive and significant towards career choice as a public accountant.
