This research aims to describe the kind of emotions and personality types
possessed by characters in the Fix You novel by Ainun Nufus. This type of
research is descriptive qualitative with the object of research is the emotions of
characters in the Fix You novel by Ainun Nufus. The data of this research were in
the form of speech, dialogue, and narration that show the emotions of characters
in the Fix You novel by Ainun Nufus. This research used a literary psychology
approach with reading and note taking technique as the data collection
techniques used. The validity of the data used is theoretical triangulation. The
data analysis techniques used in this research is the Milles and Huberman model
which consists of data reduction, data display, and data verification.The results of
this research were found the kind of emotions possessed by characters in the Fix
You novel by Ainun Nufus were: 11 emotions of happiness; 4 sad emotions; 1
emotions of punish yourself; 1 emotions of guilts; 2 angry emotions; 3 shy
emotions; and 6 emotions of love. In the Fix You novel by Ainun Nufus only the
introvert personality types are found which are Shafa, Shafa’s father and mother,
Della, Defan, and than Andra’s characters. But Shafa’s characters at certain
times often shows an exstrovert nature due to supporting factors.
