Abstract

This study aims to: (1) produce interactive learning multimedia based on Articulate Storyline 3, which is feasible to increase motivation and achievement in science learning for grade VI students, and (2) determine the effectiveness of interactive learning multimedia based on Articulate Storyline 3 to increase motivation and achievement in science learning for grade VI students. This research is a type of development research (RnD). The test subjects at the product trial stage were 6 students, and at the usage trial stage, as many as 37 students were divided into a control class and an experimental class. Data was collected through interviews, needs analysis questionnaires, media and material expert assessment questionnaires, teacher and student response questionnaires, learning motivation questionnaires, and learning achievement tests. Technical analysis of data using independent t-test and MANOVA test with a significance level (ɑ=0.05). The results showed that: (1) interactive learning multimedia based on Articulate Storyline 3 met the eligibility criteria with a very decent category. (2) interactive learning multimedia based on Articulate Storyline 3 was effective in increasing student motivation and learning achievement.
