This research was conducted to improve the learning outcomes of grade X IPS 1 students on geography about the Dynamics of Lithosphere and Its Impact on Life through the Project-based Learning method in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 4 Kebumen. This classroom action research was done in 3 cycles consisting of 3 meetings in cycle I and 2 in cycle II and III through the stages of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The objects of this research included 31 students consisting of 8 males and 23 females. The analysis used was t-student method by testing the difference between paired data and the comparison between before and after observation. The data included the students' learning outcomes and the teachers' activities by assessing the students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, which were collected by giving a post-test and observation. Meanwhile, the data for t-student test analysis were obtained from the post-test score that would be compared. The results of this research included: a) the implementation of the Project-based Learning model on Geography in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 4 Kebumen was able to improve the students learning outcomes, which could be shown from the improvement of the students learning outcomes in cycle III which were 72 with 89.75% of minimum mastery criteria;b) the t-student test results in cycle I and II showed no significant difference, with t-count = -0.001 and
t-table = 1.67065. However, a significant difference was found in cycle III with t-count =-2.555andt-table= 1.67065.
