Technology that is growing rapidly has an impact in supporting the activities of its users in completing activities that are carried out quickly, one of the tools that is often used in human activities is a smartphone, an Android-based mobile that is able to have a very significant impact which is sufficient to change the modern lifestyle today. this. However, the problem arises when a student and lecturer wants to place an order for food and drinks at the Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto canteen still using the manual method, namely queuing to choose food and drinks to buy then paying some cash and waiting for change if there is no correct money. The student or lecturer has a busy schedule. It is quite time consuming, less effective and less efficient. This problem can be resolved with the existence of an Android-based smartphone that has been installed with the UMPFood application for ordering food and drinks as well as electronic payments using QR (Quick Response) Code which is easy and fast. Based on the type of system development research, this study uses the Waterfall model method. The results of this research are in the form of an Android-based UMPFood application which is expected to make it easier for users or users to order food and drinks and to pay with QR Code.
