Abstract
The study aimed to determine the mathematical representation skills of students who participated in Think TalkWrite (TTW) which was better than Multirepresentation Discourse Learning (DMR) and students' self-concept whoparticipated Think Talk Write (TTW) was better to students' self-concept who participated MultirepresentationDiscourse learning (DMR) in SMP 1 Mrebet. Sample were collected by purposive sampling by selecting twoclasses, VIIA grade as experimental class 1 with TTW learning and VIIB grade as experimental class 1 with DMRlearning. It was experimental research and the research design implemented was quasi experiment withnonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. After testing the hypothesis with the Independent Sample tTest, the results of the post-test mathematical representation skills obtained with a significance score of 0.000, it meant that the sig <0.005 and the self-concept questionnaire was 0.0015 which meant that sig <0.005.Because the sig <0.005, it corresponded to the hypothesis that it was accepted. It proved the mathematical andself-concept representation skills of students who participated Think Talk Write (TTW) learning was better thanthe mathematical and self-concept representation skills of students who participated Multirepresentation discourse learning(DMR).
