The Background: At this time the service confirmation has been shifted from the
initial orientation to the patient that based on the pharmaceutical care. The
transfering informations requires pharmacists to further enhance the knowledge,
skills and behavior to be able to carry out direct interaction with patients, among
other, information services.
The Aim of Research: To find out how the relationship between knowledge and
attitudes to the consumer for drug information of pharmacy in Banyumas regency.
The method of the research: Observational type that is utilized is analytic
observasional by use of design cross sectional. Data were collected by using a
questionnaire to consumers who come to the pharmacy in Banyumas district.
The Result: The results showed that the largest percentage of consumers
pharmacies have a high knowledge of drug information, have a positive attitude.
About drug information and requires information service of pharmacy. The
presentase respondents who have a high knowledge of the drug more information
required about drug information than respondents who have a negative attitude.
The Conclusion: Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be
concluded that the knowledge requirement that there is a significant information
drug or usefull informations and the attitude to the needs of the information about
drugs, there is meaningful and significant relationship.
