This research aimed to find out the effectiveness of using The Lion King film media toward the fable writing skill learning on seventh-grade students of MTs Plus Al-Bukhori Tanjung, Brebes. The media used in this research was an animation film of The Lion King and the method was an experiment or quasi-experimental with control group pretest and post test design. This design used two groups consisting of the experiment group and the control group. The experiment group was the group that got the treatment, while the control group was the group without treatment.
The results showed an improvement of pretest and post test score which was proven by t count t table so H0 was objected, the scores of t count in experiment class were3.087 2.263, and the scores of t count in control class were1.524 2.263.The average score of pretest and post test in experiment class and control class were24.400 8.600. It could be concluded that writing fable using The Lion King film media was more effective compared to the one without media inMTs Plus Al-Bukhori Tanjung, Brebes.
