Assessment activities are sometimes confused with evaluation activities in the educational field. Evaluation is an integral aspect of the learning process and cannot be separated from learning activities as a whole. Teachers can use both test and non-test strategies to assess student learning outcomes. The goal of this research was to determine the quality of good items at the end of the odd semester evaluation of the Aqidah Akhlak at class XII using the ANATES program at SMK Muhammadiyah Somagede in Banyumas Regency in the Academic Year of 2020/2021.
This is a type of quantitative research that uses an evaluation strategy to compare data using Validity, Reliability, Difficulty Level, and Distinguishing Power as criteria. ANATES is a program that analyzes the quality of items. The method of observation and documentation was employed to acquire data. The data were then examined through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drafting.
The findings of this study show that the validity of the Odd Semester Final Evaluation questions in the Aqidah Akhlaq Subject of Grade XII at SMK Muhammadiyah Somagede, Banyumas Regency consisting of 31 items (62%) are in the valid category and 19 items (38%) are in the invalid category. The reliability of the items is 0.80 in the high category, with the criteria ranging from 0.70-0.90. The easy category has 16 items with criteria ranging from 0.71 to 1.00, the medium category has 23 items with criteria ranging from 0.31-0.70, and the hard category has 11 items with criteria ranging from 0.00 to 0.30. Discriminating index of items belongs to good category. Therefore, the items are retained but 8 items need to be revised with the criterion ranging from 0.30 to 0.39. A total of 9 items need to be revised with the criteria ranging from 0.20 to 0.29 and 13 items need to be deleted with the criteria ranging from 0.19 to 0.00.
