The rapid development of science and technology requires teachers to be more innovative and creative in carrying out learning. MGMP is considered very significant in improving the pedagogic competence of a teacher. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of deliberation for teachers of Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan and Arabic subjects in improving the pedagogic competence of Muhammadiyah Middle School teachers in Banyumas Regency.
This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. Descriptive data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative method. The steps of data analysis include data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions.
This study shows that the role of deliberation for teachers of Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan and Arabic subjects in improving the pedagogic competence of Muhammadiyah Middle School teachers in Banyumas Regency is through discussion and training activities in the form of: discussion of learning problems, preparation of teaching and learning administration, ISMUBA curriculum review, compiling ISMUBA LKS teaching materials, training on the use of tools, media and effective learning methods, and training on the preparation of HOTS question
