This qualitative research aimed to describe the creative mathematical thinking skills of students of SMP Negeri 4 Larangan is based on Hippocrates-Galenus personality type. The research subjects were students of grade VIII A of SMP Negeri 4 Larangan. Students were grouped into four personality types, namely sanguine, choleric, melancholy and phlegmatic. For each personality type, two students were selected as respondents using a purposive sampling technique. The data in this research were collected using questionnaires, tests, and interviews. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out in the following stages: (1) Data reduction; (2) Presentation of Data; and (3) Conclusion. The results of the research found that: students with sanguinis personality types were able to write different alternative answers, with the novelty of ideas and they were able to write down problem-solving in sequential steps. In addition, students with the choleric personality type could write down alternative answers that were different from their own unique ideas. Meanwhile, students with melancholy and phlegmatic personality wrote different alternative answers with detailed steps.
