Paguyangan Road is a connecting line between the city of Brebes and the city of
Banyumas, with a length of 4 km and a width of 8.4 m. Two methods were used to
determine road conditions, namely the PCI method and the Bina Marga method.
This study aimed to determine the value of Paguyangan road conditions based on
the PCI (Pavement Conditional Index) method and the Bina Marga method and
determine the type of road condition handling from both methods.
The method used is field research with primary data in the form of a
survey of the extent of road damage. The priority order for handling roads with
the Bina Marga method is based on a range of numbers from 0 to 7, while PCI by
ranking pavement conditions from a value of 0 to 100.
From the results of the study the condition of the Paguyangan Road with
the PCI method produces a value of 85.96, and Bina Marga scores 8, and for the
extent of damage is 330.67 m2. Of the two methods, getting the same type of
maintenance is routine maintenance.
